Food Pantries/Emergency Food

CPCA is the lead agency for eight food pantries operated in Centre County and ten in Clearfield County, providing oversight for State Food Purchase Program (SFPP) dollars and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) funding. Food Pantry services provide emergency and supplemental food and food stamp application assistance. Income eligiblity guidelines for the state or federal food program are 150% of poverty and below.

This program is operated in accordance with the Federal civil rights law and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA.

Home Delivered Meals – Clearfield County

CPCA has partnered with Clearfield County Government and the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) to provide meals to qualifying individuals through the Pennsylvania Human Services Development Fund (HSDF). Home Delivered Meals can be provided to Clearfield County residents, ages 18-59, who are income eligible or receive Medicaid, considered homebound, and not able to prepare their own meals. Through this program, certain dietary needs may be able to be met upon request.

Senior Congregate Meal Program – Clearfield County

Houtzdale CPCA provides a congregate meal for senior citizens at our Houtzdale Community Action Center, Monday through Thursday for seniors. Contact our office today or our Houtzdale outreach center at 814-378-5120 for further information.
