Park Avenue Tower is a three (3) story 36 unit facility designed for occupancy by persons 62 years of age or older/or persons younger who are mobility impaired. The apartments are one bedroom and bath. All utilities are included in rent. Tenants pay telephone and cable. Parking is available. A large community room is available for the use of all residents. A fully equipped kitchen is there for social activities. Recreation opportunities are available too such as lectures, card playing, puzzles, gardening and internet access.

Income limits are at or below these limits; single person very low income is $20,200, extremely low income is $12,150 and couples very low income is $23,100, extremely low income is $13,850 per year. This income level changes periodically by U.S Department of Housing & Urban Development.

Features: Maintenance person available Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Emergency maintenance available for weekends and holidays. Emergency pull cord in each apartment. An elevator and laundry room on the first floor. Pets are allowed (there are restrictions on size). A smoke alarm in every apartment. A secured Building. The control of own heat and air condition. Carpeted apartments (living room and bedroom) and kitchen.

How to Apply?

Complete an application. Include all forms of income such as Pension, Interest, Social Security and Veterans Pensions.

How will I know if I qualify?

You will receive a letter from Community Action telling you whether you are eligible (Age and Income Criteria) for residence for Park Avenue Tower. If you are eligible you will be placed on the waiting list. If you do not qualify you will receive a letter informing you of the reason why you did not qualify.Park Avenue Tower
