Clearfield County Farm Bureau presented food donations and cash donations to Central Pennsylvania Community Action this week to benefit CPCA’s local food pantries.
The Farm Bureau’s Mary Snyder and Ralph McClarren made the presentation to CPCA’s Family Service Program Manager Deanna Graham.
“CPCA is grateful for this donation,” said CPCA Executive Director Susan Hawthorne, “This community understands the importance of taking care of friends and neighbors in need, and the Clearfield County Farm Bureau has been supportive of CPCA through the years, and we thank them for this commitment. The timing is perfect, as well, as we are celebrating Community Action Month.”
The Clearfield County Farm Bureau believes in local giving. Farmers know the importance of volunteering time and donation money and goods within the community, and do so through the Farmers Care initiative. The relationship with Central Pennsylvania Community Action is just one example of this commitment to the Clearfield County community.
